What will you do as an Outsystems Developer?

In this role, you are the driving force behind our digital service delivery. You build smart software solutions with OutSystems (low-code) that truly add value, for our organization and for our customers.

You translate business needs into working functionalities so that our processes continuously improve. You work closely with colleagues from IT and various Business Units, taking technical lead over your applications. With your knowledge of software development and the OutSystems platform, you know exactly which buttons to push for maximum results.

With your keen eye on quality and continuity, you ensure that our software is always up and running, so that your solutions are not only effective but also truly make a difference for our customers and our company.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you have plenty of room to make an impact. You are responsible for the entire process from development to delivery and everything in between.

• Developing, testing, and delivering new application functionality with OutSystems, so we always get the most out of our platform.

• Collaborating in multidisciplinary teams and working with them to elevate our software solutions to a higher level.

• Monitoring and troubleshooting: you resolve technical and functional disruptions and ensure the continuity of IT services.

• Experimenting and innovating: you share your knowledge in Guilds, conduct code reviews, and try new techniques to continuously improve our development quality.

• Owning your field: you directly contribute to releases, deployments, and achieving team goals, with full autonomy.

• Optimizing the developer experience and standardizing through efficient use of CI/CD, testing, and release tooling.

What do you bring to the table?

• OutSystems experience: knowledge of low-code development and the OutSystems platform.

• Technical expertise: knowledge of software development, APIs, integrations, and data management.

• Strong in collaboration: you have experience with Agile/Scrum practices and can improve applications based on feedback.

• Analytical & solution-oriented: you can effortlessly analyze technical problems and translate them into effective solutions.

• Working independently: you work autonomously, take responsibility for your code, and proactively think about improvements.

• Focused on quality: you consider it important that software not only works but is also maintainable and future-proof.

• Curiosity: you continue to develop yourself and enjoy sharing your knowledge with colleagues.
