What are you going to do as a Solution Architect?

In this role, you will be the connecting factor between business and technology. You will design smart solutions that create real added value and ensure that all systems, processes and data work together optimally to achieve our organisational goals.

  • You translate the Enterprise Architecture into concrete solution directions that align with our business strategy.

  • You design end-to-end solutions that bring together functionality, applications, data and technology in coherent architectures.

  • You guide DevOps and Scrum teams in implementing solutions and advise on best practices and architecture choices.

  • You manage stakeholders by working closely with Product Owners, development teams and other stakeholders.

So in short: You will ensure that all IT solutions are scalable, maintainable and future-proof, while allowing teams to work autonomously and efficiently.

What do you have to offer?

  • A completed higher professional education or university degree, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a similar field.

  • Several years of experience in a role as Solution or Software Architect, Lead Developer or similar.

  • Experience in designing integration and software solutions in complex environments. Preference for experience with Outsystems, Cloud, API-first.

  • Knowledge of architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, ArchiMate) and relevant technologies (e.g. REST/JSON, SOAP, Microservices).

  • Insight into modern development methods (CI/CD, DevOps, Scrum) and experience with version control (e.g. Git).

  • Knowledge of security and privacy principles (Security by Design, AVG/GDPR) and experience in applying them.

  • Good command of English, preferably also proficient in Dutch.
