Job description

What will you do as a Test Specialist?

As a Test Specialist, you are the quality guardian within our Delivery Teams. You ensure that digital functionality is delivered reliably, stably, and predictably. You work closely with Developers, Platform Engineers, the Scrum Master, and the Product Owner to recognize risks early, sharpen test scenarios, and systematically improve quality.
You know exactly when test automation adds value and apply it pragmatically without losing sight of substantive test coverage.

In this role, you focus on the following:

  • Preparing and conducting functional, integration, and regression tests.

  • Creating clear test scenarios and acceptance criteria.

  • Analyzing, documenting, and reporting findings.

  • Maintaining and improving automated tests (where relevant).

  • Identifying risks in early development stages and contributing to solutions.

  • Collaborating with Developers and Platform Engineers to investigate issues.

  • Improving test processes, practices, and reusable test assets within and across teams.

What do you bring to the table?

  • HBO-level of education, preferably in a relevant field

  • Experience in testing digital functionality in multidisciplinary teams.

  • Strong analytical skills and a sense of risks and quality assurance.

  • Skillful in creating test scenarios and documenting findings.

  • Practical experience with test automation (preferably within a team context).

  • You work meticulously, in a structured manner, and have a keen eye for detail.

  • Strong communication skills: you explain test results clearly to colleagues and stakeholders.

  • Natural collaborator; you actively seek connections.

  • Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.

  • Plus if you have experience with Playwright and/or Typescript
