Job description

What will you do as a Product Owner? 

You collaborate closely with stakeholders to shape a compelling product vision for your functional domain. You play a pivotal role in translating long-term strategic objectives and short-term tactical goals into a cohesive product delivery roadmap that aligns across domains. As a strong advocate for the voice of the customer, you ensure that customer needs are continuously translated into meaningful functional enhancements that drive value and improve user experience. 


You will:

  • Define and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap, aligned with business strategy. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, compliance, enterprise architecture & product management  

  • Make strategic decisions about what to build and when. 

  • Create, refine, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog. 

  • Write clear acceptance criteria for user stories. 

  • Review and accept completed work to ensure it meets the definition of done. 

  • Use KPIs, analytics, and user feedback to evaluate product performance. 

  • Adjust priorities and roadmap based on insights and outcomes. 

  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) 

 

What do you bring to the table? 

  • At least 4 years of work experience in a similar role 

  • At least bachelor level of education 

  • A strong understanding of and affinity with financial products and services 

  • Data driven decisionmaking

  • You can work independently but are also a true team player 

  • A strong focus on solving real end-user problems 

  • Proven ability to align diverse stakeholder interests

  • Ability to balance strategic goals with operational constraints. 

  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
